Optimist youth dancers in championships

CLEARWATER – The JOOI Optimist Youth Ballroom Dance and Adventure Club is set to attend the United States Ballroom Dance Championships in L.A., Calif., in April.
Qualifying events were held recently in Baton Rouge, La. and Greensboro, N.C.
The Sunset Point Optimist Club sponsors this talented group of young dancers that have been supporting community events for several years.
The JOOI also perform with the Treasure Coast Chapter of the USA with the Bridge the Generation Gap Through Dance, where the youth dance with seniors.
The club welcomes new kids who enjoy ballroom dancing, biking, and camping. Contact 391-7643 for details.
