CLEARWATER – Yacht StarShip Dining Cruises dedicated its new addition to its fleet of dining yachts serving the Tampa Bay region at a recent ceremony at the Clearwater Municipal Marina. The 92footlong Yacht Sensation, which can accommodate 128 passengers, will be based out of the Clearwater Municipal Marina.
Yacht Sensation is the latest addition to Yacht StarShip Dining Cruises, making it the largest fleet of luxury dining yachts in Florida according to a press release. The new vessel arrived in Tampa in May 2014 after a 12-day river cruise that originated in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Yacht Sensation was greeted and escorted into its new homeport with a traditional water cannon display from Tampa’s premier tugboat, Patriot.
“We’re excited to have the opportunity to expand our business with the addition of the Yacht Sensation, allowing us to serve our guests in Clearwater Beach and Pinellas County with luxury yacht charters for private parties on a full-time basis,” said owner Troy Manthey in the press release.
Joining Manthey and the StarShip leadership for the dedication were Clearwater Mayor George Cretekos, Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce vice president Brooke Boccacino, Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce President Robin Sollie and Liz Lajoy of the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce.
