CLEARWATER – Clearwater police arrested an auto burglary suspect on Sept. 9 after a witness contacted police to report a burglary in progress, according to a police report.
The witness gave a detailed description of the suspect, his last known location and said that the burglary was taking place in the parking lot near the Palm Pavilion on Clearwater Beach. An officer responded and caught the suspect as he was burglarizing another vehicle.
Michael Warren, 42, of Largo was arrested before he was able to steal anything. Warren was charged with burglary of an unoccupied conveyance. He was released from the Pinellas County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
