CLEARWATER – Clearwater Police robbery detectives have added two counts of armed bank robbery and kidnapping for a man who was arrested on Oct. 5 by St. Petersburg Police for a bank robbery in St. Petersburg.
Clearwater detectives connected the suspect to a May 26 robbery of PNC Bank at 2498 Gulf to Bay Boulevard and a June 19 PNC Bank robbery at 2575 Countryside Boulevard.
Wesley Fox, 27, of Clearwater is being held in the Pinellas County Jail on the following charges: Three counts kidnapping while committing a felony, leaving the scene of a crash with property damage, four counts of robbery with a deadly weapon or firearm, and third offense of driving with license restricted or suspended. Bond was set at $705,250.
