CLEARWATER – Almost every man and woman knows someone who has been a victim of domestic violence.
A woman is beaten every 15 seconds in the United States and four women die each day from abuse.
Patchington will help these women and families through its semi-annual trade-in program. For more than 15 years, fashionable women across Florida have joined Patchington boutiques to help victims of domestic violence during Patchington’s trade-in events.
“The trade-in event is a simple way for our store associates, customers, and charity partners to develop relationships that strengthen their communities,” said Michael Levich in a press release. Levich is Patchington CEO. “Over 100,000 articles of clothing have been donated since the first trade-in event was held. All items are donated to a local charity serving victims of domestic violence.”
By bringing gently-used clothing to any of 21 Patchington locations, customers receive up to $25 off their purchases. This season’s event runs from Tuesday, Oct. 22, through Monday, Oct. 28.
Locally, the Patchington store at 280 Indian Rocks Road N., Belleair Bluffs, will participate in the trade-in program to benefit The Haven in Clearwater.
