CLEARWATER – A woman called police Oct. 27 after seeing two young men break into her vehicle on the 700 block of Mandalay Avenue, according to a Clearwater Police report.
Officers responded and found two subjects matching the description on Memorial Causeway. Officers also found them to be in possession of property belonging to the victim, as well as that from a second burglary.
Detectives interviewed the suspects and linked the juvenile suspects to an additional unreported burglary. The victims’ property was recovered.
Iamon Grover, 19, a transient of Clearwater was charged with principal first-degree burglary of an occupied dwelling, possession of burglary tools, burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, and principal first-degree burglary of a conveyance.
He was being held at the Pinellas County Jail on $17,000 bond.
Police also arrested a 16-year-old male and charged him with three counts of vehicle burglary and burglary of an occupied residence.
