Three arrested on drug, firearm charges

CLEARWATER - Three Clearwater men were arrested about 8 a.m. Oct. 30 when Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office narcotics detectives and members of SWAT served a search warrant at 1455 Lime St. in Clearwater.
According to a report from the sheriff’s office, the search warrant was the result of a month long investigation by detectives after receiving tips and complaints that the suspects were dealing narcotics and in possession of firearms.
Deputies seized oxycontin, marijuana, one hand gun, and one shot gun.
The investigation also revealed two of the suspects, Wesley Gearhart, 28, and Michael Carwile, 51, met in prison and are allegedly members of a gang known as the "ganster disciples."
The third man arrested Casey Gearhart, 20, was charged with possession of roxicodone and marijuana. He was released on bond of $2,250.
Wesley Gearhart was charged with two counts of felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and felon in possession of ammunition. He remained in jail in lieu of $20,000 bond.
Carwile was charged with felon in possession of ammunition and was released on bond of $10,000.
