CLEARWATER – The public can still apply for the GFWC Clearwater Community Woman’s Club 2012 Daisy Grants.
The grants are up to $1,000 and are for nonprofit organizations in Pinellas County that have demonstrated positive service to the community. Applicants can view the application at www.clearwatercwc.org.
Deadline to apply is Wednesday, Jan. 9. The awards will be presented at the 41st annual Daisy Grants Fashion Show on Friday, March 22, at the Belleair Country Club.
In 2011, more than $5,000 in grants was awarded to nonprofit organizations.
The GFWC Clearwater Community Woman’s Club is a member of the Florida Federation of Women’s Clubs and the General federation of Women’s Clubs, one of the world’s largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational women’s volunteer service organizations.
