SAFETY HARBOR – Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a motorcyclists who hit a 16-year-old Safety Harbor girl about 9:30 p.m. Nov. 9.
According to the sheriff’s report, Tina Craddock and some friends were walking north on 10th Avenue North in the Lincoln Highlands subdivision in Safety Harbor about 9:30 p.m. When Craddock turned west onto Seventh Street North to head home, she was struck by a motorcycle heading eastbound.
Craddock was taken by air to Bayfront Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The motorcycle operator fled the scene.
Deputies have not released a description of the motorcycle rider. Pieces of broken plastic, believed to be from the fairing of the motorcycle were found at the scene. The pieces are blue in color.
