There has been an increase in residential burglaries lately, according to this map of locations from Clearwater Police Department.
CLEARWATER – Clearwater Police have reported an uptick in residential burglaries in the Old Clearwater Bay, North Greenwood and Kings Highway areas.
The suspect or suspects are breaking into homes when people are away and taking items such as televisions, cash and jewelry, according to a police report.
Police remind neighbors to report suspicious activity immediately. If anyone sees someone hanging around the house or going to the rear of the home, please call 911 in an emergency or call police at 562-4420.
