Auburndale man arrested on battery charges

PINELLAS COUNTY - An Auburndale man was arrested on 10 counts of lewd and lascivious battery and one count of molestation on March 29.
The victim’s mother told deputies that her 14-year-old daughter had engaged in sexual relations with a 27-year-old family friend. The relationship began in August 2005, sheriff’s reports said.
The victim was introduced to the suspect, identified as Juan C. Bojay, through a mutual friend. The suspect and the victim continued to see each other at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Clearwater. The suspect was arrested at a Largo residence, sheriff’s reports said.
