Alexandra Caldwell
SEMINOLE – Tampa Bay Newspapers has named Alexandra Caldwell editor of the Clearwater Citizen.

Caldwell, who joined Tampa Bay Newspapers as a general assignment reporter in March, was formerly a reporter for the Villages Daily Sun.

“In the short time she has been with our papers, Alexandra has shown a lot of enthusiasm and skill in covering a variety of stories, especially in Clearwater. I’m confident she will excel in her new position,” said TBN Executive Editor Tom Germond.

Caldwell, who lives in the Clearwater area, will oversee coverage for the Citizen as well as design the paper. She also will write stories for other TBN publications.

Readers who would like to submit community news, such as upcoming club, school and sports events for Clearwater, Dunedin, Palm Harbor and other communities in north Pinellas County, should e-mail them to acaldwell@TBNweekly.com or fax them at 397-5900. Caldwell can be reached at 397-5563, ext. 304.

The Citizen is delivered to more than 19,000 homes in Pinellas County.
