DUNEDIN – Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives are looking for a man accused of “coaxing” a juvenile into stealing a cell phone about 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013 at Dunkin Donuts on 1461 Main St. in Dunedin.
Detectives said that Freddie Garcia Ramos, 37, aka Jorge Guillermo Reyes, entered the Dunkin Donuts with a 14-year-old juvenile male, who is known to him. While inside the store, the Ramos whispered to the juvenile and then coaxed him over to a nearby table. The juvenile grabbed a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 cell phone off the table and placed it in his pocket. Ramos then handed the juvenile car keys and the juvenile exited the store.
The cell phone has since been recovered and detectives are now asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect.
Ramos is a Hispanic male, with black hair, brown eyes, approximately 5 foot 11 inches tall, weighing 240 pounds. He is known to frequent the areas of Tampa, Miami and Dunedin.
