The Dunedin Fine Art Center summer camp scholarship fund recently receives a Rotary Club grant.
The Rotary Club of Dunedin has been an integral force in north Pinellas county civic life for over 60 years and for 35 of those years, the DFAC has been providing high quality arts education for children, teens and adults.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Rotary Club of Dunedin has recognized the DFAC summer camp program with a grant of $2,500 to be used for scholarships for those unable to afford attending the award-winning camps.
Receiving the award for DFAC, executive director George Ann Bissett explained how crucial funds from organizations like the Rotary Club of Dunedin are in making DFAC’s programs accessible to the entire community. The grant means 20 additional weeks of camp will be available for those in need this summer.

Registration for 2012 summer camps will begin in February.
