DUNEDIN – The Dunedin Osprey Cam is up and running again, and a pair of ospreys have been seen making the platform their home. Viewers may go to www.dunedinospreycam.org to witness egg laying, hatching, feeding and fledging. Last year, there were more than 135,000 visits to the site from people in more than 25 countries.
The public is asked to help document the key events that occur in the nest. If anyone watching sees a significant event, such as mating or egg laying, they are asked to snap a picture of it using the online program and send it to dunedinospreycam@sunchasers.us. The information will be included in NestingNotes, which is the corresponding blog.
