DUNEDIN – At its Oct. 18 meeting, the Dunedin City Commission unanimously approved the purchase of 704 new seats for the Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. They will be purchased from American Seating of Grand Rapids, Mich., for $88,661.
The seats to be replaced are along the right field line. These seats are deteriorating, fading and cracking and are in need of repair, according to a memo to the commission from City Manager Rob DiSpirito.
The current seats are fixed in the open position, but the new seats will be fold-up style that will allow for better access to the seating area.
