Dunedin Chorus plans holiday activities

DUNEDIN – The Dunedin Chorus has been busy this year and has planned a full schedule of activities in the coming weeks.
Nine students were chosen to perform with the Pinellas County All County Honor Chorus. Alex Gallagher, Tony Giallourakis, Catherine Card, Stephanie Eyers, Jennifer McClure, Ashley Garber, Joy Checca, Jaimie Myers and Brooke Evans participated in the performance at Ruth Eckerd Hall on Nov. 9.
The Madrigals and Falconaires Honor Chorus ensembles will be performing at various events in the Dunedin area, including the Dunedin Old Fashioned Christmas event on Friday, Dec. 4.
The chorus members will be collecting donations to support the program on Saturday, Dec. 5, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Walgreens and Ace locations in Dunedin.
The Honor Chorus will participate in a presentation of a candlelight processional on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 4 p.m., at Disney’s Epcot.
The chorus also will present its winter concert on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 7 p.m., in the auditorium at Dunedin High School, 1651 Pinehurst Road. Donations supporting the chorus will be collected at the door.
