CLEARWATER - It's "A Rock 'n Jazz Hot Summer" at Ruth Eckerd Hall this August with scheduled performances by O.A.R., White Snake and Michael McDonald.
O.A.R. will perform on Saturday, Aug. 6, 7 p.m. Considered one of the hardest working bands in the business today, O.A.R. refuses to sit on the sidelines. The five-piece rockers, fresh off an almost completely sold-out spring tour, have tapped Hawaii’s ska-rockers Pepper and The Southlands as openers.
Tickets are $30 and $25.
David Coverdale and Whitesnake The Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues Show has scheduled REH on what's touted as the band's "most ambitious Whitesnake endeavor in almost 20 years." Whitehouse will play Wednesday, Aug. 10, 8 p.m. Tickets are $60, $39 and $36.
Michael McDonald will perform an evening of blue-eyed rock and soul on Saturday, Aug. 20, 8 p.m.
Former Doobie Brother McDonald will take to the stage performing hits like “What a Fool Believes,” “Taking it to the Streets,” “Sweet Freedom,” “Minute by Minute,” “I Keep Forgettin’” and “On My Own.” He also will perform new classics from his Grammy-nominated “Motown” recordings.
Tickets are $75, $47 and $37.
Ruth Eckerd Hall is at 1111 N. McMullen Booth Road. Call 791-7400 or visit www.rutheckerdhall.com.
