Catch a classic flick at Tampa Theatre

TAMPA – Tampa Theatre continues its popular Summer Classic Movie Series through Sept. 25.
The series features classic movies on Sundays at 3 p.m.
Audience costume parades will be held before select movies. Audience members are encouraged to come in costume as a character or in creative costumes inspired by the movie. An emcee will invite them to parade across the stage before the movie.
Members of the Central Florida Theatre Organ Society perform at the Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ before every movie.
Summer Classic Movies for August
“Grease” – Sunday, Aug. 7, 3 p.m., $7 – Audience costume parade
“Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” – Sunday, Aug. 14, 3 p.m., $7
“Rebel Without a Cause” – Sunday, Aug. 21, 3 p.m., $7
“His Girl Friday” – Sunday, Aug. 28, 3 p.m., $7
Admission to all films is $7 for adults and $6 seniors, students and military. Tampa Theatre members receive a $1 discount or free admission. Tickets may be purchased at the box office beginning one hour before showtime.
