LARGO – The city’s executive golf course has shown a dramatic increase in the number of golfers plying its renovated greens as well as profits over its last half-year before its renovation, according to Manager Don Brannon.
Brannon has reported that 37,309 rounds of golf have been played since the course reopened in April. He said this is 14 percent more golfers than in the same months of 2005.
The course was closed and rebuilt during the same months of 2006.
Revenues, Brannon said, have increased by 38 percent over 2005 and totaled $640,300.
