LARGO – Police say a woman who worked at PEMHS on Palm Way exposed herself to patients and fellow employees on Jan. 6.
Gulfport resident Marissa Rodriguez, 42, was talking to a patient about body piercing when she allegedly lifted her shirt in front of the juvenile to show the youth her pierced nipples.
The juvenile mentioned the incident to another staffer in group therapy. Rodriguez, when confronted with the allegation by staff, then exposed herself to them, police say. Other juveniles witnessed the exposure. She has been charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition.
The incident originally involved a call in which police responded to the mental health facility on an unfounded abuse complaint. During the investigation, the officers came up with the separate incident involving Rodriguez.
