LARGO – The city of Largo asks its residents to help city leaders prioritize and plan for the community’s long-term future during its Community Values campaign.
There are two ways to participate: by attending an upcoming “community conversation” or by taking the online Community Values survey.
Community conversations are for small groups of residents to discuss their goals and aspirations for the community, and what can be done to make these happen. Food will be provided at all three conversations.
Three dates and times are available to accommodate busy schedules:
• Breakfast will be served on Friday, Feb. 21, 8 to 9:30 a.m., at Village Inn Restaurant, 13105 Walsingham Road.
• Dinner will be served on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Largo Community Center, 400 Alt. Keene Road.
• Lunch will be served on Tuesday, March 4, noon to 1:30 p.m., in the community room at Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd.
To attend one of the conversations, register online at Largo.com/values or call 587-6790. Registration is limited to the first 30 individuals who sign up for each session.
Anyone who is unable to attend a conversation but would like to share their ideas can take the online survey at Largo.com/values through March 1. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete, and results will be posted after April 1.
Participants of the online survey will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 gift card.
