LARGO – Largo police are investigating the death of a 50-year-old woman as a homicide, after finding her body in a Largo home Feb. 6.
The victim has been identified as Patricia King, police reported. Police were dispatched to 1008 10th Ave. NW. at 3:11 a.m. Feb. 6, where they found King’s body. She had suffered “apparent trauma” to her upper body, department spokesman Lt. Paul Amodeo stated in a release.
“There is no information to support that there is a threat to the community,” he stated.
The case was initially classified as suspicious death, but was ruled a homicide by that evening. Largo detectives are actively following up leads.
