LARGO – A 63-year-old woman died in a two-vehicle crash Feb. 27. Her husband was airlifted to the hospital in serious condition, according to Largo police.
Police responded to the scene of the crash, at the intersection of 66th Street and 142nd Avenue North at 5:05 p.m. According to the investigation, a 2003 Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by Evan Moyer, 49, of Largo was traveling west on 142nd Avenue. A 1998 Mazda four-door sedan, driven by William Frazier Jr., 65, of Clearwater, was traveling east on the same road. Frazier turned left onto 66th Street in front of the truck and was hit on the passenger side of the Mazda.
His passenger in the front seat, Nancy Frazier, died at the scene. William Frazier was airlifted to a local hospital in serious condition. Moyer was transported with minor injuries.
