Chamber to offer business help

LARGO - "Americans with Disabilities Act - What Every Business Needs to Know" is the topic of the next Largo/Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce business luncheon on Tuesday, March 8, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at East Bay Country Club.
Guest speakers will be Dave Goldfarb of A.D.A. Compliance Specialists Inc. of Miami Beach and local attorney Nickolas C. Ekonomides, host of "Legal Waves - Keeping You on the Straight and Narrow," a local radio show on WTAN-AM 1340. They will address what businesses must do to prevent lawsuits stemming from noncompliance to ADA regulations.
Cost of the luncheon is $10 for chamber members, $15 for nonmembers. Advanced registration is recommended by contacting Sue Brown at 584-2321 or e-mail events@largochamber.com. The country club is at 702 Country Club Drive.
The chamber will sponsor "Largo Chamber Quest," a campaign to boost the organization's membership, throughout March. The effort will include a two-day, four-session phone-a-thon at the chamber's 151 Third St. N.W. offices on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 15, and 16.
