LARGO – Nate Freeman, president of Network People, was recently recognized as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional, after successfully completing an exam in Washington, D.C. and mastering key criteria in the field of information security.
The CISSP certification sets the industry’s gold standard and is globally recognized expertise in the field of information security including architecture, design, management and controls that assure the security of business environments. In addition to passing the six-hour exam, certification requires at least five years of direct experience in the security field.
Freeman exceeds that requirement, having owned and operated Network People since 1996.
“Managing cyber security risks is an urgent need for businesses and organizations,” Freeman said in a press release.
Network People, a computer technology business headquartered in Largo, serves business, government and education.
