LARGO – In celebration of Earth Day, the fifth annual Trashy Fashion Show will be held at the Largo Cultural Center Saturday, April 21, to feature amateur “green” designers of all ages. Participants are encouraged to reduce, reuse and recycle to fashion their wearable “green” designs of at least 75 percent recycled materials.
Models will hit the 30-foot runway with their innovative “trashion” designs at 6 p.m. Attendees and the general public are invited to enjoy a free pre-show Green Expo with educational environmental displays, healthy food and green living solutions from noon to 6 p.m. This year’s Green Expo is bigger than ever so get there early.
