Chamber to salute educators

LARGO – The Largo/Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce will host its annual “Salute to Education” luncheon on May 14 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., featuring Outstanding Educator Awards at the Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive.
The event will include a presentation by Carl Kuttler, president of St. Petersburg College, a widely respected entrepreneurial college president who works with government entities, other colleges and universities, as well as local and national businesses and corporations.
The luncheon, which also will feature the presentation of chamber scholarships to Largo High School seniors, is being presented by the organization’s business/education partnership committee.
