LARGO – Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a 27-year-old May 13 for unlawful sexual activity with a girl under age 17, who is now pregnant.
Detectives assigned to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Crimes Against Children Unit arrested Cordara Crenshaw about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 13. He was charged with one count of unlawful sexual activity with certain minors. Bond was set at $10,000.
According to detectives, the incident took place at Crenshaw’s residence during the summer of 2013. Detectives began their investigation earlier this year when the victim was discovered to be pregnant. Through the investigation, detectives learned that Crenshaw was the father of the child.
The sexual activity reportedly occurred while the victim was visiting family in Pinellas County last summer. When questioned by detectives about the relationship, Crenshaw admitted to the unlawful activity with the minor, according to the sheriff’s report.
