LARGO – Members of Girl Scout Troop 371 at Anona United Methodist Church in Largo recently received their Bronze Award for a special project on which they all worked very hard.
The girls went out and got donations of money and supplies from private residents and local businesses and used the supplies to remodel apartments in the Grace House of Clearwater for families in need.
They cleaned, repainted, and redecorated the apartments so that families hard hit with financial difficulties could occupy them.
They also put out a Christmas meal for the families of Grace House earlier in their project.
The troop members live in Belleair Bluffs and Largo.
