Largo man arrested in connection with robbery

LARGO – Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives made an arrest on June 24 in connection with a June 19 robbery of a 7-11 store located at 11505 Walsingham Road in Largo.
Jeremiah Miller, 16, of Largo was arrested for armed robbery about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday near his residence located at 13485 Adams Circle West. Detectives are still looking for a second suspect.
According to deputies, two suspects entered the 7-11 about 3 a.m., approached the clerk and demanded cash. When the clerk told them he could not open the register without conducting an actual transaction, the suspects took an undisclosed number of lottery tickets and a pack of cigarettes and fled on foot.
One of the suspects was armed with a handgun, and both wore white T-shirts wrapped around their heads and faces.
Deputies responded to the crime after the clerk called 911. Through the investigative process, detectives said they were able to link one of the suspects to the crime through forensic evidence.
The second suspect is still at large. He is described as a black male, five feet 10 inches tall, about 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and jean shorts. He had a white T-shirt wrapped around his head and face.
