LARGO – A 20-year-old stabbed and killed his brother during a dispute Monday morning at their Largo home, according to a report from Largo police.
Officers responded to an apartment on South Pines Drive about 8:18 a.m. July 14 on a report about a fight between brothers.
Police say that Matthew Cisco, 20, and his brother, Christopher Cisco, 26, got into a verbal argument in the living room of the apartment, which they shared. The dispute turned physical and the two wrestled onto a loveseat.
“At that point, Matthew Cisco grabbed a pair of scissors that were reachable on a coffee table and stabbed his brother, Christopher in the chest,” the police report said.
Christopher died. Matthew was arrested and charged with second-degree murder (domestic).
Police said that no one else lived in the residence and that neither brother had an apparent criminal history.
