LARGO – Applications are being accepted for the 2014 Citizens’ Academy of Largo, a 10-week program designed to educate residents about the inner workings of their city government.
The academy consists of weekly sessions on Mondays, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Participants will tour key facilities, learn about the challenges facing future development, talk with city leaders about current issues and events affecting Largo and interact with city staff at all levels. Citizens’ Academy is a great way to learn about and get involved in your community.
Applications are available at www.largo.com and must be submitted by Friday, Sept. 5.
