LARGO – Police believe they have caught the man responsible for at least one of the pharmacy robberies in which he allegedly stole narcotics, including Oxycodone and Fentanyl patches.
A man approached the CVS Pharmacy at 4000 East Bay Drive and demanded the pharmacist open a safe. Dustin Noonan, 22, then jumped over the counter, police say, and stole the medicines.
Acting on a tip, two detectives with the Largo police department, according to Largo police Sgt. Ed Sohoski obtained a search warrant for Noonan’s residence where police found evidence of the robbery.
Police said additional charges are pending, including charges he allegedly robbed a CVS pharmacy on Walsingham Road on July 5.
