Tours available at firehouse museum

LARGO – The Kids Firehouse Museum has 12 antique firetrucks dating from 1924 to 1961 and has plenty of memorabilia and safety boards for kids to learn about firefighting history and fire safety.
A fire safety video also is shown to the children touring the facility. There is a picnic area and playground on the premises. Tours are offered to school-aged children.
To make a reservation for a school group, call 585-1300. Admission is free and donations are encouraged. The museum is at 9510 Kids Firehouse Ave. Visit www.kidsfirehouse.org.
