LARGO – A Clearwater man died about 3:30 p.m. Oct. 14, after the bicycle he was riding was hit by a car.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Quinten Canty, 25, was attempting to cross Roosevelt Boulevard at Bradford Street when he failed to yield to oncoming westbound traffic.
Anastasios F. Poulakis, 58, of Largo was traveling westbound and hit Canty with his 1999 Mercedes. Canty received critical injuries and was transported to Largo Medical Hosptial where he later died.
