LARGO – A Clearwater man, run over twice by a pickup truck Oct. 30 at Tires Plus, 1800 Seminole Blvd. in Largo, died Dec. 7 at Bayfront Medical Center.
James W. Rosen, 75, had been standing about 40 feet east of an automotive service bay, when John Roger Driscoll Jr., 25, of Clearwater backed his Ford F250 out of the bay. The rear of the truck struck Rosen, knocking him to the ground.
Driscoll was unaware that he had hit Rosen and ran over him. Driscoll then moved his truck forward driving over Rosen a second time. Rosen was taken to Bayfront Medical Center, where he later died. Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the incident. No charges have been filed.
