LARGO – The city will offer the following courses beginning in January:
• Youth golf lessons – Learn the fundamentals of golf. Instruction and expertise are offered in a fun learning atmosphere. The fee includes nine-hole round of golf coupon, which must be accompanied by a paying adult.
• Certified Instructor: Scott Sabadosh, ages 7-14, Mondays, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Bayhead Complex, 375 Seminole Blvd.
• In the zone basketball training camps – Beginner and advanced classes offered designed to train and condition while building skills and focus with proven results. Instructor Lonny Siegel, ages 6-15, Tuesdays, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. or 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Highland Complex, 400 Highland Ave. Call 460-1904 or visit www.inthezonehoopcamps.com for more information.
• Youth track – Children will team up with friends and rivals from other local cities. The program includes three practices at Largo High School and one track meet at a specified location. All participants will get an official T-shirt. Ages 5-18, Wednesdays, Jan. 6 through May 5, 6 to 7 p.m., Largo High School, 410 Missouri Blvd.
