OLDSMAR – Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are actively searching for a murder suspect in connection with a Jan. 13 homicide in Oldsmar.
Deputies responded to a home on Stoneview Circle in Oldsmar that Monday for a welfare check. Once inside the home, deputies located the body of a Teresa Sue Compton, 48. According to the sheriff’s report, Compton died of upper body trauma and her death was ruled suspicious in nature.
An arrest warrant for murder in the first degree was issued for James Quilliams, 40, who is believed to be in the area of Sevier County in Tennessee. Local law enforcement in that area are looking for Quilliams.
