Fire damage is evident at a home at Frontier Mobile Home Park in Palm Harbor. Neighbors assisted two men escape from the home after a fire broke out about 2:30 a.m. March 7.
PALM HARBOR – Detectives with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Arson/Auto Theft Unit are investigating two fires at the Frontier Mobile Home Park, 30700 U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor.
Deputies responded to the scene about 2:30 a.m. Friday, March 7, and found the mobile home at lot #103 fully engulfed in flames.
The two residents inside, Animal Kidd, 65, and Marcus Devoto, 63, were able to make it outside safety with the assistance of a neighbor. Kidd and Devoto are being treated for non-life threatening injuries (smoke inhalation) at this time.
While fire rescue was extinguishing the fire at lot #103, another one was discovered at #80, which was vacant. This fire was smaller in nature and quickly extinguished.
It is unknown if either fire is suspicious, detectives are still in the beginning stages of their investigation.
