PALM HARBOR – Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a Palm Harbor man March 14 in connection with a March 11 car burglary in the Palm Harbor area.
Detectives identified the suspect seen in a recent surveillance video as Kyle Jeffrey Lang, 24. Lang reportedly admitted to detectives that he committed the burglary.
He was charged with burglary conveyance-unoccupied and was transported to the Pinellas County Jail without further incident.
Detectives are still working various leads on other car burglaries in Palm Harbor in the area of Tampa Road to Alderman Road and Alternate 19 to Belcher Road. The first incident occurred on Feb. 11 and the most recent incident occurred on the evening of March 11.
In a previous report, detectives said that the suspects enter unlocked cars and remove items from inside the vehicles. At times, the vehicles have been stolen when the keys have been left inside. There has not been any reported sign of forced entry to any of the vehicles.
