PALM HARBOR – Three Palm Harbor teenagers were injured, one seriously, in a two-vehicle crash that occurred about 6:40 a.m. March 18.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Taryn Ashleigh Airey, 18, was driving a 2007 Jeep Laredo southbound on West Lake Road approaching Queen Ann Boulevard when she drifted into the northbound lane north of Queen Ann Boulevard and collided nearly head-on with a 2003 Honda Pilot.
The driver of the Pilot, Connor John Fish, 16, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Bayfront Medical Center. Fish’s passenger, Angelo Attardo, 17, and Airey suffered minor injuries and were taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Airey was ticketed for failure to drive in a single lane.
