The man in this surveillance photo is wanted for grand theft shoplifting in connection with the July 29 theft of sunglasses from a Palm Harbor eye care store.
PALM HARBOR – Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for help from the public to locate a man wanted in connection with the theft of sunglasses from a Palm Harbor store.
According to detectives assigned to the burglary/pawn unit, the crime occurred between 3:50 and 4 p.m. July 29 at East Lake Eye Care located at 3434 East Lake Road, #3 in Palm Harbor.
A suspect was seen viewing sunglasses at the store. When he left, an employee noticed sunglasses missing from open racks. Surveillance photos show the man removing various types of sunglasses from the racks and putting them in his jacket pockets.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s, approximately 6 feet tall, heavy build with black, straight, collar length hair and a mustache. The suspect was last seen wearing a medium blue polyester 70s style suit with a white button down dress shirt and dark dress shoes.
