PALM HARBOR – Florida Highway Patrol is looking for an individual involved in an altercation at a club in Palm Harbor just before 3 a.m. Aug. 29.
According to FHP’s report, Douglas Berube, 42, of Palm Harbor, who works as security at Silks, 37100 U.S. 19 N., attempted to “secure” an individual involved in an altercation. The suspect managed to get into a vehicle and “intentionally ran over” Berube in the parking lot before fleeing southbound on U.S. 19.
Berube suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Bayfront Medical Center. Latest information is that he is in serious but stable condition.
