This man is wanted in connection with an Aug. 26 theft at a Sprint store in Oldsmar.
OLDSMAR – Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives are asking the public for help in locating a suspect involved in a theft from a Sprint store in Oldsmar.
The detectives, assigned to the Burglary/Pawn Unit, said the theft occurred on Monday, Aug. 26, about 11:45 a.m., at the Sprint store located at 4022 Tampa Road, #4 in Oldsmar.
According to detectives, the suspect entered the store and approached the counter before asking an employee for assistance. He then stated he needed to return to his car for something he forgot. The suspect was then observed taking an employee’s cell phone from the counter before walking out of the store.
The suspect went to his vehicle and returned a few moments later to say that he did not have the item he was looking for. The suspect then left the store.
The suspect is described as a white male with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with a white under shirt, dark colored shorts and dark colored tennis shoes. The suspect has a tattoo on the back of his neck and a vertical tattoo on the outside of his right ankle or calf.
There is no description of the vehicle at this time.
