PALM HARBOR – The Centre, formerly the Palm Harbor Community Activity Center, 1500 16th St., is seeking area businesses that would like to donate candy and display their literature at The Centre’s ninth annual Halloween Carnival, scheduled for Oct. 20, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Volunteers are also needed.
Each participating business will need to supply candy for at least 500 children. In the past, some have placed two pieces of candy into a zipper bag and attached a business card. Each business will receive a 6-foot table to use to distribute candy and business literature.
The carnival will feature free trick-or-treating, a haunted hayride, haunted trail, snacks and concessions.
