A surveillance camera shows a tan Jeep Liberty driven by a suspect wanted in connection with the Nov. 4 robbery of a Radio Shack in Palm Harbor.
PALM HARBOR – Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a robbery suspect who stole from Radio Shack store in Palm Harbor Monday, Nov. 4.
According to detectives, at approximately 7:20 p.m. the suspect pulled his vehicle up to the Radio Shack located at 770 East Lake Road in Palm Harbor. The suspect was observed exiting the driver’s side of a tan Jeep Liberty and entering the store. Once inside, the suspect ordered all of the employees to the back and demanded money and merchandise. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and multiple cell phones.
The suspect is described as a black male with a beard and mustache, approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall, 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and a baseball cap with white lettering. He was wearing thick black gloves and a nude colored nylon stocking over his face when he entered the store. No weapons were seen at the time of the robbery.
