Winter Break camps slated OLDSMAR – The city of Oldsmar is planning a Winter Break camp for kids Dec. 26-28 and Dec. 31-Jan. 4 at the Cypress Forest Recreation Center, 650 Pine Avenue N. Story Time offered Thursday mornings OLDSMAR – The Oldsmar Public Library offers Preschool Story Time on Thursdays at 10 a.m. Programs include stories and a simple craft and last about 30 minutes. Recommended for ages 3-5 years. For additional information, call 813-749-1178.
Senior center offers programs OLDSMAR – Oldsmar Senior Center offers diverse and interesting year round programs. Programs are free or cost a minimal fee and can be discounted with a Recreation Center card. Participants ages 50 and older can participate in OSCARS (Oldsmar Senior Center Art Recreation Social), FAB (Fiber Arts Bunch), woodworking, billiards and tai chi. Senior socials gather people to play games over coffee and refreshments. Day trips take people to places like the Hard Rock Casino, Strawberry Festival and museums.
