PINELLAS PARK - American Mixed Martial Arts will unveil its state of the art, after-school care and sports academy on Saturday, March 16, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., inside of the Cross Bayou Industrial Park at 10450 66th St. Pinellas Park.
A variety of activities will be offered for children of all ages including a bounce house, face painting, carnival style games, raffles and giveaways.
Child care services will be available, so parents can participate in free health and wellness assessments, fitness and martial arts classes and guided tours of the new site’s after-school department, mixed martial arts, wrestling and fitness programs.
American Mixed Martial Arts will be expanding its Mixed Martial Arts and After-School care programs to offer students and members an extensive selection of products and services designed to cater to families and individuals of all ages and abilities even if their interest doesn’t necessarily lye in the martial arts or after-school care.
The All-American Sports Academy will serve as the umbrella corporation for American Mixed Martial Arts as well as their recently restructured After-School Enrichment programs with a professional staff comprised of Pinellas County School board teachers, counselors, RN’s and child psychology majors.
Some of the new programs that will be offered include one-on-one academic tutoring; a high school and collegiate wrestling course; Tae Kwon Do program to cater to the traditional martial arts devotee; plyometric strength and conditioning courses; women’s self-defense seminars; personal training sessions with an array of nationally certified trainers; and cardio kickboxing and fitness classes themed "Fighter Fitness" for those looking to accomplish their overall fitness goals without the use of martial arts.
All-American Sports Academy also is considering the addition of other programs that promote physical, mental and emotional health such as a school of dance, free weight and cardio equipment, rehabilitation services, acupuncture, therapeutic and deep tissue massage.
“The grand opening of the All-American Sports Academy will provide the members of our community a great opportunity to be exposed to a more affordable and better quality alternative to the daily needs than the average individual or family is already paying for,” said David Bybee, owner and master instructor for American Mixed Martial Arts.
