Bricks are still available at Korean War memorial
PINELLAS PARK – Suncoast Chapter 14 of the Korean War Veterans is selling engraved bricks for its memorial at Freedom Lake Park.

The memorial salutes veterans of all wars, including the Korean conflict, that cost thousands of lives during the early 1950s. The chapter is selling the bricks that can be engraved with the names of loved ones. They will be placed around the memorial. Cancer Society sponsors 10th ‘Relay for Life’
PINELLAS PARK – The American Cancer Society will sponsor the 10th annual Relay for Life event May 11 and 12 at England Brothers Band Shell’s Town Square Plaza Park. Relay for Life honors cancer survivors and remembers those lost to the disease while raising money for research, education and services. Members of clubs, organizations, churches, families and businesses are welcome to participate at pre-event meetings on March 14 and April 11 at the American Cancer Society office, 4801 86th Ave. Further information is available by contacting Lynn at 812-7008.

City Council meetings now aired in Seminole
PINELLAS PARK – City Council meetings will now be aired in Seminole. Michael Gustafson, city manager, said the Seminole meetings also will be broadcast in Pinellas Park over Channel 15. Taped versions will be exchanged for broadcast by the two cities.

Christian band to appear
PINELLAS PARK – The Christian rock band, Revelation, will perform a free concert Saturday, March 10. The free event begins at 7 p.m. in the parish hall of St. Giles Episcopal Church, 8271 52nd St.
